We have waited to publish it so as not to take center stage from the heroes who have told their experiences in the first person on this first anniversary. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"article-main__content\" data-test-id=\"publishing-text-block\">\n<p>At the <a href=\"https:\/\/es.linkedin.com\/company\/patatas-aguilar?trk=article-ssr-frontend-pulse_little-mention\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-tracking-control-name=\"article-ssr-frontend-pulse_little-mention\" data-tracking-will-navigate=\"\" data-test-link=\"\">Patatas Aguilar<\/a> stand they gave us a copy published by <a href=\"https:\/\/es.linkedin.com\/in\/robert-aguilar-jativa-726243276?trk=article-ssr-frontend-pulse_little-mention\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-tracking-control-name=\"article-ssr-frontend-pulse_little-mention\" data-tracking-will-navigate=\"\" data-test-link=\"\">Robert Aguilar Jativa<\/a> <span class=\"\">telling how they lived and recovered from this situation. It reminded us of the chronology of that day: <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"article-main__content\" data-test-id=\"publishing-text-block\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>5:30 p.m.<\/strong> It starts to rain.<\/li>\n<li><strong>6:00 p.m<\/strong>. The power goes out and they are left almost in darkness, water enters that they try to bail out with buckets and mops.<\/li>\n<li><strong>6:30 p.m<\/strong>. The plant floods and all the machines stop.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7:00 p.m.<\/strong> Water enters the offices and everything that seemed safe is no longer safe.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7:15 p.m. <\/strong>They go upstairs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7:30 p.m. <\/strong>They try to stop the impossible, opening the doors so that the water can circulate and leave.<\/li>\n<li><strong>20:12 <\/strong>The official alert arrives.<\/li>\n<li><strong>20:30<\/strong> Some go down to see the cars and get stuck on the marquee.<\/li>\n<li><strong>22:00 <\/strong>They break the vending machines to get some food and drink to get them through the night.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"font-[700]\">00:30<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\"> The colleagues from the parking lot manage to return. They spend the night as best they can between the dining room and the meeting room. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>07:00<\/strong> The sun rises and through the windows they see that the water has devastated everything.<\/li>\n<li><strong>07:30 <\/strong>They leave the plant, walking, in a group, looking for a way to go home.<\/li>\n<li><strong>07:45 <\/strong>There is nothing, it&#8217;s time to walk with the same wet clothes and a tired body.<\/li>\n<li><strong>10:30<\/strong> Family, friends and colleagues pick them up when they reach more accessible areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"article-main__content\" data-test-id=\"publishing-text-block\">\n<p><strong><span class=\"font-[700]\">TWO DAYS WE WERE THERE. With shovels, with boots&#8230; Not out of obligation, but out of commitment.
