We have been talking to companies in the fruit and vegetable sector for a month and in each conversation we learn something new. For example, each company prioritizes the problems it wants to solve differently.
Our starting point is the planning and control of packaging within a warehouse. But from that base function, we help you in other areas.
For example, we calculate today what you will have left over tomorrow (kilograms by qualities and calibers) so that the sales team can obtain orders and that the raw materials do not have to return to the chambers.
We are also going to help you with order forecasts and make it easy. That’s why we want:
- Automate the calculation that you now perform manually, based on your customers’ latest orders.
- Calculate the level of success and error and if we can improve it, offer you an alternative model so that you can use both data.
- Facilitate the creation of production orders based on historical data when you have to start producing before receiving the order.
Another planned functionality, which is not yet available, consists of coordinating the expected orders, the production capacity of the plant, the storage capacity in the chambers, the current stock, the field collection plan and the raw material purchase plan. When available for a plant, we will continue to work to coordinate the work of multiple plants that can exchange orders and production.
